HDS is led by co-founders Desmond and Siena Haskell. Desmond leads the website design work, while Siena manages client relationships and communication. As a husband-and-wife team, we bring different strengths to the business while sharing the same commitment to the clients we serve.

our Story

Built During a Time of Change

Haskell Digital Services began in 2020, during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. As jobs and businesses faced sudden uncertainty, we found ourselves considering a different career path. Desmond began studying web design principles and gaining practical experience by building a portfolio with local businesses.

What started as freelance work gradually became something we could build a livelihood around. After gaining experience and seeing the need for dependable website support, we founded HDS together and began developing the business around thoughtful design, changing technology, and the practical problems clients needed solved.

That need was especially clear during the pandemic. Small-business owners were working to support their families while trying to keep pace with a growing dependence on technology and online visibility. Coming from working-class backgrounds ourselves, we understand how much these businesses contribute to their communities and the people who depend on them.

Today, we continue growing HDS around the same purpose: helping small-business owners manage an increasingly necessary part of running a business, so they have more time to focus on the work they care about.
