How the Project Started
H.U.S.T.L.E. Recovery came to us with a clear and time-sensitive goal. They needed a single-purpose landing page for their year-end campaign, “Hope for the Holidays“, designed to raise $20,000 by year’s end. That funding would fully support three individuals through their wraparound recovery program.
This was not a general website page. It was a campaign asset, built to do one thing well: explain the need clearly and guide visitors directly to giving without distraction. The page was built on Squarespace within the Accordus workflow, with Team Lead oversight, and owned end-to-end by us from structure through launch.
Defining the Purpose
Before design or layout, we locked the purpose. Every decision on the page needed to support one clear message: donations directly fund treatment placement, transportation, housing, outpatient care, aftercare, and continued support that helps people rebuild their lives with stability and dignity.
That purpose shaped the copy, the section order, the absence of unnecessary media, and the way calls to action behave across the page.
Campaign Branding & Visual Direction
This landing page uses a year-end branding system specific to the 2025 campaign. We applied campaign-only styling rather than global site changes so the page could feel seasonal without disrupting the rest of the site.
The visual direction focuses on growth, recovery, and steadiness, using natural and evergreen motifs rather than holiday decorations. The tone is hopeful and grounded, not celebratory or sales-driven.
The page uses:
Gold for Primary Calls to Action
Soft Teal for Secondary Accents
Deep Green for Background Sections
Charcoal for Core Text
Warm Cream for Soft Contrast Areas
Typography combines decorative accents for campaign phrases with highly readable body text. All styling is handled through page-scoped CSS so no other pages are affected.
Page Structure & User Flow
We designed the page to move visitors through a clear, linear story without forcing them to scroll past unnecessary content.
The structure includes:
A Hero Section With The Campaign Tagline And Immediate Giving Prompt
A Purpose Section That Clearly States The $20,000 Goal And Three-Person Impact
A Breakdown Of What H.U.S.T.L.E. Recovery Provides
A Dedicated Donation Section Using FundraiseUp
A Final Call-To-Action With Contact Information And Year-End Urgency
We intentionally did not embed video on the page. While a campaign overview video existed internally and helped guide tone, the final decision was to rely on written content and layout to keep the page simple and fast.
Explaining the Impact
One of the most important sections explains what H.U.S.T.L.E. Recovery actually does. We outlined their services in a clear, factual way so donors understand exactly where their money goes.
This includes:
Treatment Navigation For Insured And Uninsured Individuals
Sober Companion Transportation
Safe And Stable Housing Across Multiple Tennessee Locations
PHP, IOP, Aftercare, And Vocational Support
Advocacy For Justice-Involved Individuals With A Recovery-First Approach
This section sits above the donation form so visitors understand the impact before being asked to give.
Donation Experience & CTA Behavior
All calls to action on the page are anchor-linked. No buttons send users elsewhere. Every CTA scrolls directly to the FundraiseUp giving form at the bottom of the page.
There are no static donation tiers shown outside of FundraiseUp. Giving levels, frequency options, and payment handling all live inside the embedded form. This keeps the experience consistent and reduces friction.
Custom CSS & Technical Considerations
The year-end page required custom styling that could not live at the theme level. We implemented page-specific CSS using the page’s unique identifier.
This CSS controls:
Button Styling
Background Sections
Headline Treatments
Spacing And Layout Refinements
No global styles were overridden, which protects the rest of the site and keeps future maintenance clean.
Review Process & Final Approval
The page went through multiple internal reviews and client feedback rounds. During the process, we discussed the potential addition of a testimonial, but none was provided. After review, the client approved the page as-is and requested no further changes.
Once approved, the page was finalized and launched without additional revisions.
Final Outcome
The finished landing page gives H.U.S.T.L.E. Recovery a clear, focused fundraising asset built specifically for year-end giving. It communicates the $20,000 goal without ambiguity, explains the real-world impact of donations, and guides visitors directly to giving with minimal friction. The design stays calm and respectful, matching the seriousness of the mission while still offering hope.
